🍀 Second High Point Hushpuppies @ Reidsville Luckies Game Postponed 🍀
Makeup dates announced after the second of a back-to-back is cancelled
The High Point Hushpuppies were going to travel to Jaycee Park to face the Reidsville Luckies twice this weekend, but neither of those matchups will be taking place just yet, due to rain.
The High Point Hushpuppies Baseball Facebook page announced that the games have officially been rescheduled. The Luckies will compete with High Point on Wednesday, May 31st, and on Tuesday, June 13th.
Reidsville will celebrate First Responders Night on Wednesday.
In the next week, the Luckies will have five games in five days. First, they host the Hushpuppies on Wednesday, and will also be the home team in a game with the Carolina Ducks on Thursday. Friday, the Luckies will travel to the state capital when they play against the Oak City Gliders, before the Gliders come to JC Park on Saturday. The Luckies will wrap it up on Sunday, traveling to Bogey Ballpark at Sandhills Community College to try to avenge their recent loss to the Bogeys.
This is going to be a very pivotal week for the Luckies, with four big divisional games taking place. The Sanford Spinners are 1-0, the Hushpuppies and Bogeys both sit at 2-1, the Gliders are 0-1, and the Luckies are 0-2. If Reidsville wants to be a top two team in the Central Division, and make it to the ONSL postseason, winning their divisional games this week would be a big step toward that goal.
