In Pineville, NC the red-hot, four-seeded Pineville Porcupines battled the five-seeded Sanford Spinners in an elimination game. Next, the reigning, defending champions, 3 Sandhills Bogeys, took on the number six, the Clayton Clovers.
In the poll I put up yesterday, the Pineville Porcupines led the pack with four votes, while the one-seeded Brunswick Surfin’ Turfs followed with three. The Sandhills Bogeys and Clayton Clovers tied, with two votes apiece, while the Hendersonville Honeycrisps and Sanford Spinners didn’t receive any picks.

The last team in, the Clayton Clovers, upset the Central Division Champions, the Sandhills Bogeys, 4-2. The six seed advances to the Semifinals for a game with the two-seeded Hendersonville Honeycrisps tomorrow at 2 PM.
