The ONSL Championship Series -- 4 Porcupines vs. 6 Clovers
write-up for the full series; the winner of the Bracket Battle of the Broadcasters is declared; find out if you made the right prediction
On Saturday, Pineville saw the Championship Series, taking place between two teams who didn’t win their division, the four-seeded Porcupines and six-seeded Clayton Clovers.
Game 1
If you’ve watched Pineville throughout the season, you would expect nothing less entertaining from the first game. They powered through, winning 8-7 in eleven innings. They’ve owned extra innings on this insane run.
Game 2
The Porcupines tried to keep a safe distance between them and Clayton during the game. They did a good job, and took full advantage of the coach of the Clovers being ejected. Eventually, they would break away from the 8-5 score with a huge, eight-run seventh inning, propelling them to the ONSL Title.

Congratulations to Santa for picking Pineville to win the cup before the season even ended. He is now the winner of the inaugural Bracket Battle of the Broadcasters!
Four people on the poll I posted picked Pineville to win, and I promised to give them some recognition. Congrats to Jason Ramey, Sr., Melita Hatley, and Santa for making the right pick. I haven’t found out who the other one to pick the Porcupines was, and, if you’re reading this, send me a message and I’ll make sure the readers know.
On-Deck: Absolutely nothing. Congrats to Pineville for their eleven game win streak to finish off the season, and congrats on becoming league champions. The Luckies are coming for you next year.
