summer goes by too fast

It seems that as soon as summer baseball comes to Jaycee Park, it goes.

The Luckies season ended today in Clayton.

It was a rollercoaster of a season.

We met new players, and welcomed back Vermilions.

We watched more wins than losses.

We saw a couple of walk-offs.

We witnessed a scramble for the playoffs.

We listened in as the Luckies clinched a playoff berth with back to back elimination game wins in Wake Forest.

The worst part about having ride-or-die loyalty to a team is that when they do fall short, it hurts.

Gonna be an extremely long offseason.

At least I won’t have to hear Eric and Joe’s “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.”
