Luckies break series tie with Ducks
At Jaycee Park, the Reidsville Luckies were able to put down the Carolina Ducks to break what was a one-one tie in prior games between the two.
Extra Bases: The Old North State League All-Star Game comes to Marion, North Carolina this Saturday, and the Luckies will be heavily featured, with four different All-Stars and two participating in the home run derby.
Kristian Amaro, Travis Hammond, Jacob Trivette, and ace Colin Eaton will represent Lucky City in Marion, while two of the eight home run derby participants (!) will be our very own TJ Highsmith and the aforementioned Trivette.
Notes: This doesn’t impact the standings, but, as we always say, it’s important to take advantage of these games and get some momentum rolling in games like this.
Upcoming: The Luckies take on the Lexington Flying Pigs on Friday, participate in the All-Star Game on Saturday, and battle the Clayton Clovers on Sunday.
