Luckies lose in Virginia to team with worst name in all of baseball
The Luckies or Sammies put up just one run to Danvilleβs six, as the Dairy Daddies scored four runs in the seventh inning to put the nail in the coffin.
After Danville scored two runs in the bottom of the second, Ryne Rodrigues fired back by hitting a single to bring home Cole Price. That was the only run of the night, however, for the Luckies, and Danville took down Reidsville for the first time this season.
The last time the Luckies wore their Sammies jerseys and took on the Dairy Daddies, they scored twenty unanswered runs to win, 22-14, but unfortunately, that was not the story tonight.
